Cain Ackland

Postby untapped ability » Mon Apr 27, 2009 10:22 pm

How is Cain going over at North Adelaide? Is he dominating like he did at Carlton?

He comes from my town over on the Eyre Peninsula. I went to school with him. Nice guy.

North people are very happy with the way Cain is performing :) :)
Its the 1st time in nearly a decade that we've had a Ruckman that actually gets on the stats sheets for anything except hit outs
-let alone take grabs and kick goals because lately at North I didnt think that was allowed

Hard to tell from a Sturt supporters POV because Saturday wasn't a very good day for big blokes. Did well enough considering the conditions.

He's been awesome mate, one of the main reasons the 7th side of last year has beaten 3 of the finalists of last year (2 of those were away too).
He's done most of the ruck work himself and his committment and dedication is excellent.
North supporters couldnt be happier!
Weve only lost 1 game to the dominant Central.
When we get our other ruckman back from injury (a previous state player) itll be good to see Cain spend some more time up forward too.

PS The girls at Prospect are stoked with him too but for other reasons! ;)

I think the only ones not happy with him would be a couple of Port cheer squad members

Spelly, you're the stats guru...

Can you tell us how many times Wedgie has made mention of this fact in his posts over the last week??? ;)

Twice mate. It doesn't take a stats guru to add up to 2.

Mrs Wedgie isn't homosexual but she is a big fan of his, she's not creepy either. At least our trip to Thailand ensure she replaced the toploess photo of him with a nice sunset as her phone wallpaper!

Your desire to discuss homoeroticism in a footy forum does concern me though mate! :?
Each to their own though.

PS Bad luck today old mate, I thought your side was very well coached but the players just didn't have the heart to get over the line, a shame.

Just glad to see you happy Wedgie. I was quite worried about your mental wellbeing last year... Hope you're still so happy later in the year...
