Its not about shifting blame, its about fact. Its easier talking about the Crows and leave Port out of it really. The Crows are 2.4 million behind the average in stadium deals. This is a club who has sold out probably every regular season game for as long as you could think. So crowds really dont come into it when talking about AAMI stadium. If Port was getting 40,000 to games, we'd still be 2.5 million behind the average, and only just making a profit. The club and the SANFL have agreed that if they were getting the average AFL stadium deal, they'd be making solid profits on a yearly basis. Of course crowd figures come into it and yes Port need to seriously improve in this area, but as it stands, the SANFL needs to come to the party as well.
