IF the "Admin" merger goes thru does this mean the annual dividend from the Adelaide Crows to the Magpies will go directly to Port Power??

I made comment about this in one of the other threads and don't think it's a dumb question at all ... Given the Magpies would receive $xoo, ooo in reduced costs above the other SANFL clubs AND the Crows concerns (which I'd imagine would exist) about forwarding a dividend to an AFL rival, I reckon any agreement would need to see the Magpies cough this up.

You are right there CP however I think the proposal still has the Magpie portion of the merged "one club" receiving the same exisiting SANFL dividends which would be an absolute joke in the circumstances outlined and the concerns of the SANFL Clubs is that how would you track if that crows portion of the dividend went into running the Magpies it could well get "lost" in the big bucket and actually assist the Crows AFL rivals! It would surely have to exclude Port from any Crows dividend but also how do the SANFL track any dividend paid by the AFL Power and match returns etc from beign re-spent by the Power and not directed to the SANFL arm of the "one club" - very messy and very worrying!
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Agree with that. I cant see how you could vote in favour of that. However, if that was taken out and the crows dividend was not fed to the Magpies, and with the fact that they could not act as a Power Reserves, ie due to mini draft rules set up with PM only being able to select crows drafties etc. then you start to get a model which you could at least get people away from seeing only blood.

If the magpies die, it will be sad for the SANFL, also alot of Magpies supporters arnt going to filter into other teams, you might get a few but not many really, and really the rest of the SANFL is worse for that.

Just my few cents, Im no means a business man at all, but I can see where some problems for the other sanfl sides are with the proposal. Then again, I havent also got the full details so pardon my ignorane in that area.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

As a friend pointed out to me though, this is already happening in a way. The SANFL is pumping millions into the Power over the next few years, most of which comes from Footy Park revenue at Crows/Power games.
