James and Chris Gowans would be up there, they have both played around 200 games, in fact Chris is currently on 199 I think.

Justin Cicolella played his 200th last year, so would have thought he would be next.

it is a marvellous effort to acheive 200 + games in todays climate, 300 games for tim would be a fitting result & i hope he gets there, as it shows those younger players what committment & dedication is all about to play league footy
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Well said Bayman.

I was more than skeptical toward Tim coming to the Parade (in fact I just downright saw it as a backwards step for the club), knowing full well his best footy was behind him .. However, it has been a blessing for our club to have had him - His leadership, his mentality toward success, his professionalism and the example he provides to other players (particularly the younger lads) has been exemplary, and a fair eye opener to his colleagues over a period in which our standards have slipped dramatically.

The fact that he's a fantastic bloke to boot is an added bonus.

I really hope his form and body allows him to notch up the 300 this season, and given the fact he would be a Blues boy at heart, it would be even greater if it were against his former club so that all in attendance could pay their rightful respects.

The only two young fellas in the comp at the moment, that could be a chance, would be Daniel Caire and Steven Summerton.

Both have played 60+ games now IIRC, both wont get picked up by the AFL and are still relatively young (21). Its still a massive effort and i would doubt they would, but their the only 2 young guys that i could think of that could go close.

great effort by Timmy and i hope he gets there.

Fair call.

Having a good fleet on the track is one thing. Very important to have that solid core of players keeping the effort focussed, accountable and heading in the right direction - as well as setting the example for the next generation of team leaders IMO.
