Just maybe Carmen has unfinished business , but the board at south have shown they cant handle tough men and their honesty ; he has many of the things south need to start clawing their way back out of the toilet .

Just to keep the banter going what are the thoughts these guys for the top job:

Garry McIntosh ex Norwood great would certainly bring a high profile and now has more experience as a Coach then what he had when he was at Norwood last time.

Trent Mills Goodwood Coach former Panther Captain has Coached Goodwood to at least 4 SAAFL Div 1 flags now.

Chris Waterman former AFL Assistant with West Coach and Fremantle has coach Peel Thunder for the ast few years inthe WAFL and the clu has improved.

Just a few names to throw out there

I did think he was a strong chance of getting the Norwood position - I agree with you that he would be a good SANFL coach, yet I dont think it will be at South.

Interesting thought there and one name I hadnt considered. I dont want to rip on the SAAFL, yet I do think the goal posts are vastly different between that competition and the SANFL, yet having said that I do think your suggestion is definatley worth considering and the club should at least speak with him if this is the case!

Great appointment, well done South...

Good luck to Ron Fuller, if anyone is capable of turning a club around on field, it would be him...
