you cant be serious. by the looks of all this macca bashing you guys are saying he is the reason we lost to the dogs last week totally incorrect even by suggesting this you are taking away the facts the dogs were too good had a much bigger desire to win one can only admire there attitude to never give up and we were beaten by the best team this century. i wouldnt change the team from last week.

yes Centrals league side the following weekend ;)

Actually, a good question kind of off topic. Do you think a cold and wet day (likely for more close in contact) would take more out of a team than a 30 degree day?

Undoubtedly play when its cool and wet. Physiologically playing when it is hot 30 deg is far more fatiguing than a cool wet day.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

This game was one in the first quarter, the bays kicked 8 goals to 2 with Duldig being a huge focal point all game. He gave Hardy a bath. After an even second quarter the dogs fought back in the third to be down by about 3 in the third. But in the end the bays were to strong.

Better players for the dogs Alloca Nason Habel for the Bays Duldig Snook Day A.Grima.

So take it UK Fan, your were there? Would have been only one of maybe a dozen. Thought there would have been a few dogs fans there, but very poor turn out by them. (Hopefully Eagles fans will get there next week, or I'll look like a fool.)

I'll be there; both our fans and Sturt fans had a good turnout last year. I hope to see the same this year with both us and Glenelg.

Glenelg never looked like loosing after breaking out of the gates to have a match winning lead by qtr time. Duldig was dangerous up forward all day had 7 kicks for 7 goals Centrals didn't seem to have a match up to close him down.

The holding the man paid to Nason 50 out which he went back and slotted late in the game was terrible. He was given the free after he threw the ball out while being tackled and was given the free for holding the man. Funny that the next two decision by his partners were holding the ball calls in favour of the Bays.

I was impressed the way Glenelg kept Central at bay for the early part of 3rd qtr and got a couple goals early to put the previous weeks demons behind us.

Centrals never say die attitude came to the top as they worked back into the game but I always felt we were going to win.

Only down side was dirty cheap shot (Gowans esk on Murphy in the league last week) from no.50 for Centrals on McConnell some 70 metres off the ball.
