AFL players returning for finals

So if the League team win this week & get the week off, but the reserves lose and play in the prelim - would he be eligible to play in the reserves prelim under the condition of returning from injury?

Whilst this can all get a bit confusing with eligibilty of AFL listed players and participation within SANFL finals, I think in this case with Griffin playing reserves for Centrals SHOULD there league side win this week and the reserves go down, I don't think it would matter in regards to any ruling because Griffin has played the minimum 3 games at SANFL level already so he should be able to play reserves no worries at all.

As long as the league side are in he can play reserves if the league side were knocked out in the prelim final and the magoos made the GF then he would be ineligible for that game due to playing more games in the league than the twos.

Thanks for clearing up Boys! There's a couple of other scenarios in there that could be interesting but I'm not going there just yet!
