Norwood 2009-2010

Postby mal » Mon Sep 07, 2009 1:08 am

2009 was expected to be a big year for the legs
After a good 2008 coach Hill was given a significant boost by having several recruits in 2009 to bolster the list
But what a disappointing year
Got sprung with the salary cap
The boom recruits , were mostly disppointing
NW finished an abyssMAL 7th

BUT

The future looks very rosy for the Legs in my opinion
Im glad the club cannot recruit in 2010 becoz of the salary cap saga

Recognise your age its a teenage rampage is the SWEETener

TEENAGERS who played league in 2009

AH CHEE
EVANS
JEFFRIES ???
GORRINGE

Some interesting stats there mal, will be an interesting year for the Redlegs next season...

Jarrod Cotton said on 5AA tonight that after the upset win over his former club, the Doggies, he advised the players that he will NOT be applying for the vacant coaching role at Norwood.

He said while he felt he learnt alot in the couple of months he took the helm, he doesn't feel as though he is ready for the role full time.

Said he isn't sure what he'll do from here and if the new coach wants him to stick around he probably will otherwise he will look at other options.

Pfft, he just wanted to retire from coaching with a 100% record against the benchmark team! :D :D
