Quite Ironic when you consider that he only came to Centrals because Port Magpies did not rate him. Port were not going to even give him an invite to the seniors track pre season (until they heard he was talking to Centrals). No wonder they are a Cot Case of a club at the moment.

And there is more than a couple of AFL clubs that have been in contact with him to date.

The next couple of drafts are going to see more kids and even some guys 19-22 get a chance in the AFL that might otherwise not have. O'Hara and Havelberg might get a little more interest than when they first came onto the scene.

As for "targetting" kids, it really isn't that big a deal. All players are tested in many regards when they play a new level. No doubt the dogs players will see how keen he is to go in, but no different to any other bloke new to league level. If the kid stands up and contributes it will do a lot for his development.

The closer this game gets it seems there are more and more reasons for the dogs to win. Hopefully the boys take that as meaning it gets more and more a danger game.

To quote Brian (RIP), "Come on Norwood!!"
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

It's always a nice way to think of ending the season, but in reality, who has ever gone into a season thinking they must be good because they beat a decent team 6 months earlier? I think deep down the legs know they've blown a chance to be good. Taylor Walker could have been a bloke to look at as adding to a good side but he's still the main man 12 months later. Norwood are back to 2004 IMHO.
