Doug's Back!

Postby Sojourner » Wed Aug 12, 2009 9:10 pm

Word around the traps is that Doug Oakley is to return to the commentary box for LifeFM this weekend!

Great news if you ask me, I think he is easily one of the best SANFL commentators for an accurate commentary and convincing call of the game - Lets hope its back for good! 8)

Doug Thomas was back at Richmond on the weekend and he looked really good (for an old bugger).

Doug is a real gentleman as well, great guy to juts have a chat to about footy and life in general (pardon the pun)...

I think he is working in the funeral industry so he hasn't had as much spare time to commentate the footy, but he is a very knowledgable man and has a great voice for radio...

Pity then he is not going to call for RPH, he could take a pine box with him and bury Dennis Browne and his annoying comments you get constantly through the game!
