Maybe you should sell your lights for clubrooms then? ;)

A few games at the start/end of the season when the nights aren't too cold would be fantastic. Doesn't matter what nights.
The joy of being on the hill drinking beer cannot be understated

Just sell all but 4 of them ... thats what most other clubs use.

Footy is a traditional day sport
Night footy is OK for the odd game , but not regularly

When your team struggles night footy in the cold weather is offputting

c'mon mal if you support a team you support them through thick & thin & that means even if it is snowing  :D ;)

Anyway back on topic ... Agree Jabba, we're not talking about using them every week but a few here and there for SANFL just like current programming at the Parade and the Ponderosa.

The added bonus (which the club would be also pushing) is the ability to use the ground for non SANFL events.

There's a reasonable amout of coin to get them up, but if the finances can be worked through then I think it's a fantastic initiative for the area.

There wuz a time I would have gone to see my team in any conditions

When you get
OLD
FAT
ARTHRITIC
UNHEALTHY
MARRIED
HAVE YOUNG KIDS
Its a bit difficult to see your team at night

I prefer to spend Friday nights with the family
I like having dinner with the family and spending time with them

I have been brought up as a young teenager and a young adult to watch footy on Saturdays
Fridays are too hard ,by the time I finish work, get home have dinner, see the family its about 7-30 and generally too late to go to Friday night footy
And for some you dont get home until 11-00 at night as well
Saturday night is a bit better for me

Im with Adelaide Hawk nothing will ever beat saturday arvo footy
MY RATINGS
FRI NIGHT 0.5
SAT DAY 9-5
SAT NIGHT 4-5
SUN DAY 8-5

FOOTNOTE
If i was single and young Friday nights were ok

Ask the players in March/April and its anything above 25 degrees what they prefer

Night footy is great, should be at least one game every weekend in March, April & May

Mal - saying you like spending Firday nights with the young family? Fridays night are better for me to get to the SANFL as they go to bed at 7.30pm so I can go out
