They will need to go outside of South people to get anywhere. Their culture is woeful so why would you get past players involved who played in the same culture. A gutsy person and a non south person who wants to make a name for himself and help South is the only way. Cultures take years to build and ex South people will not help unfortunately.

*chuckle*

They did that last year - got a successful outside person (who knows about winning and good football cultures) to lead the football department, but the South people chucked him out.....

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Who was that ? Cahill ? As mentioned above we are talking about about top down not coaches.

Good point - no

South very recently guaranteed at least 6 maybe up to 10 Henley amateur players a league game by the end of the year if they came up and trained with the Panthetics.

Seriously though why not give an opportunity to some mature age recruits in the local leagues would only help promote the club to the local leagues if it played some of their established players.

Plus would they do any worse then their current players?

Also just wanted to know does anybody know why Trevor Potts left SAFC didn't he lead the ressies to a Premiership or GF a couple of seasons ago? And if so did he get interviewed for the Senior Coaches job? Seems like he deserved to be considered?

Get people in there who've actually got some sort of idea about what running a club at SANFL level is all about and who actually listen to what the people/coaches they've hired have got to say.
