Scared of the cold? Buy yourself a nice thick Sturt jacket and a couple of Bourbons. You'll be right ;)

????????? Why. Not me mate but there are people that dont attend games because of weather conditions , thought that was obvious. The point is pretty simple , if it was played at Adelaide on Saturday and being fine you would get more there. Same as last year 12000 on a Saturday at the Bay. Not that difficult to understand.

Thats my point mate, what weather conditions. It's just going to be a bit cold, no rain, no hail.
Makes me wonder why they can fill a soccer stadium in England while it's snowing but we are worried about a little bit of cold weather here. SOFT.

Agree that Friday's weather shouldn't be much of an issue, but those same Poms go to the beach if they're over here when it's 18 degrees ...
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

Why are Norwood oval crowds better on a friday night then and why are AFL averages higher for night matches?

Friday night Norwood Oval matches are generally against the more well supported teams and during the warmer part of the season, is the reason IMHO.
