Nick Lower a big out for the Legs, not too many other than he, Thomas, Rodan and Gallagher been winning the hardball for Norwood ... Gags is the only one of that quartet that will take the field on Sunday, so someone's going to have to stand up and help, particularly in the wet.

Think Massie's performance becomes quite pivotal now in this contest.

Terlich and Jericho on the forward flanks.

Hughes on the wing.

Any Norwood fans have any info on Young?

Crows guy isnt he ????

Yes, I remember now.

I saw him in the trial at Norwood.

All I know is what's in his player profile. He's 18, 192cm, 83kg. He missed 2 years of football through a back stress fracture and as an exchange student in the USA, but played well for Vic Country in the 2008 U18 championships.

Interesting to see Robbie de Jongh in the ressies for West. I guess he missed footy last week but he would have been itching to be selected in the league team this week.

Will Young is on the Crows list. He hails from Ballarat - had a bit of a chat to him last week and he is enjoying being in Adelaide and playing at Norwood as he was mates with Walker and Kite before arriving. Has been in form in the ressies and would no doubt love to make his debut this week.

It will be interesting to see what sort of crowd go to this game - no public holiday this year as ANZAC day falls on the Saturday; Essendon v Collingwood on the box on Saturday; ABC broadcasting the game and wet weather forecast. Hopefully 2,500 (at least) will get along.

Yeah, cheers!

Was just pointing out that the combination of Saturday and Sunday things may dissuade people from going to City Mazda Stadium itself on Sunday!

Will pram lady be there? ;)

Will Young is a good young defender. Has a lot of speed, likes to take them on, is sensational at the second efforts and making amends for his mistakes. Hits the packs hard, covers for his teammates, has good closing speed and gets a fist on a lot of balls. Question marks at this stage are over his disposal and decision making but both have already improved this year. A lot to work with and the Crows would be thrilled with his development so far. Congrats to him on making a league debut so soon in the year.

Norwood by 4 goals.
