Incredible he hasn't rec'd more league opportunities, Im guessing he wont be at the Eagles next year.

That’s the common theme for Reserves medallist’s… off to another club for a crack at league footy

Who was the last non-midfielder to win the MM? "Fred" Phillis?

Scott Hodges…

Or Boyd last year, pending your definition of midfielder

Apparently a former Crows player is in line to step into a coaching role at an SANFL club.

Obvious vacancy at WAFC and the worst kept secret of Paul Thomas to be at Alberton next season...

Thought the rumour was Nathan Bassett. he was at the footy yesterday watching too.

Not sure why he would want to do it, the club has no money, no facilities, can't get recruits. Good get by the club if they can get him though.

I think you're on the money...

Great day at the Bay today

The most predictable unpredictable group I’ve ever been involved with ( the Bays 2s) decided to wake up at the 20 min mark of the 3rd and finished over the top of South and have booked a birth in the GF.

Sturt 2s then just did a job on North to set up a prelim at Noarlunga.

GF day could be a repeat of 2023

Sturt 2s only just making the five was a surprise they have been better than that this year when we’ve played them.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Yeah our reserves are so much better than our 5th position at the end of the minor round!

South stacking the ressies and still dont get the job done.

Freitag should be on a list

What, like a watch list? Bit harsh...

I don't know if it's stacking the reserves as much as it is the list profile at South. There's half a dozen in the seniors who pick themselves, the rest you could throw a blanket over, none of them really stand out to cement their spot in the league side.

200 bucks on Sturt now will earn you just enough coin to drown your sorrows when the inevitable happens in 2 weeks' time...

We might be able to give them a good run but just the small matter of your mob first that has had it over us and won’t play two bad ones in a row.

For the sake of the SANFL I hope it’s a tight, tough and bruising encounter.

2hrs of hard, tough, contested footy… I’d be happy for it to go into extra time to see more of it if it’s close!

Looking forward to watching.

How many t-shirts have you ordered on the Sturt members only portal of their website?

Pierre Cardin?!

I haven’t heard that name since shopping at John Martin’s Marion in 1992
