As did we...
Having said that, Sturt were far better in most facets. Full credit cos they play their small ground well BUT are also dynamic on the bigger Ovals.
Great combo of smalls and talls up fwd, solid mids and Amos made Kobe look second rate.

Dittmar probably best for the Dogs with Thomas our best forward (and our best ruck?). Kendall had a very good second half and Zac Adams was decent.
Not sure playing Posthuma on Hone works to our advantage at all.

Considering Sturt’s form in the past month, Centrals didn’t disgrace themselves.

Kept fighting all day, even had the margin back to 34 points in the last quarter. It’s also the highest score Centrals have kicked against Sturt in a couple of years. Sturt are simply a class above everyone else at the moment.

I’m thinking there’s a big enough sample size to suggest Sturts game plan significantly trumps Centrals game plan all things being equal. That said I’d love to see a different approach next time we meet. That would see the Dogs throwing caution to the wind and matching Sturts penchant for quick, forward running ball moment and delivering to an uncongested forward line
