His form tapered off in the latter half of the season so obviously he wanted to be somewhere else .

For mine, this is an even greater indicator that he's no chance to play AFL at the Power

100% his no chance. It is also an indicator of how strong the dream can be for many and why the lure of the AFL clubs is so strong.

Interesting to note Thommo said we only have the 4 recruits this year so it looks like recruiting is done.

Kitschke to play as a forward!!
Tonkinson and Annand to ruck and swap up forward.

He played forward most of the time in our reserves.

Is Howe still with us? He came on in leaps and bounds (no pun intended) and was really competetive in the Prelim I thought.

After looking through other posts it seemed like we were after a couple more.
We also couldn't manage to entice Shay Linke back to the club.
So would the club or supporters be satisfied with the list we have.
Saying that we've done our recruiting from the injury list doesn't fill you with confidence.
Definitely looking forward to seeing more from Monaghan,we need another mid who can get 25pos.+.
Also hopeful M.Lochowiak and East will stay healthy, they haven't played much footy in the last seasons.
Hopeful they do play more footy and maybe our clubs lack of recruiting will be justified.

As far as I know he is,

I think he got injured toward the end of last season but isn't listed as an out anywhere.

Goss for Dog fans...

Two new big guys looking good and Zach Adams has been very impressive.
Chisholm, Monaghan and Gasper are looking very fit after their injuries last year.
Anzac L has been a standout and is flying along.
Shaw running well, possibly down back this year.
Pearce and Howe still around, the latter has a hamstring issue at present.
East has only just started running after his horrendous issues with heel.
Tippo is still doing rehab after the late season knee injury.

With Dudley gone Anzac could get his chance as small forward if he wants it bad enough .

Interesting development ... Murray Bastick who is a key defender from Tassie, and a team mate of Zac Adams and Jack Tomkinson has just scored a job in Adelaide and will suit for Salisbury North but has his eye on joining the Dogs in 2026. I am sure the Club will keep a watch on him, even as a possibility for this season given Brinns injury.

Fitting an extra player into the salary cap at this stage might be an issue.. (cue the brown paper bag references)

Is it likely we could lose Mani Liddy to mid season draft next week.
If so unlikely to play against Sturt .

That's why he was at Alberton then.
