Round 9 - Eagles v Adelaide (Woodville) - Sat 7/6 (1.40)

Postby Wedgie » Tue Jun 03, 2014 3:36 pm

Take note of the half hour earlier start than normally, Eagles flying high but Adelaide coming off a good win at Noarlunga.
Eagles by 7 goals for me.

This was always scheduled for Seven instead of 7mate - the second of three SANFL-AFL back-to-back matches this year on the main channel. Centrals v Norwood at the obscene 12.10 start was the first in Round 2. The last is in Round 15.

ROUND 15
Sunday, August 3
North Adelaide v Norwood Prospect Oval 1:10pm SEVEN 1:00pm *

With Collingwood v Port Adelaide following immediately at 4:00pm.

Could be a couple of handy outs from the Crows for the Eagles - Ellis-Yoelman and Luke Thompson.
How ironic is it that they were both Eagles last year! (they are both probably glad they have been called up for more than 1 reason too).

Okay, the Sunday Mail TV Guide says 7mate.

Haven't seen jack Osborne play before either. Massive unit, doesn't look like a footballer though.

Also happy Jacobs is obviously going to play given smac was named emg but is playing here.

Crows looking good so far. Could be dangerous in the second half of the season. Having said that, the Eagles have turned games around after half time a couple of times this year, so a long way to go.
