Almost a golden dynasty.

Almost but not quite - you need to win nine flags in eleven years to get that. 8)

1878-1889
Norwood went top 9 times
Topsy Waldron was captain in 6 of those years, and Norwood went top on every one of those 6 occasions

But nothing before 1964 matters as the Doggies were not part of the competition.

All week we had spoken about the pressure we needed on Norwood to get into the contest early. To be 7 goals behind at quarter time in such a big game is embarrassing. Allowing so much uncontested possession was incredibly tough to watch and finally we all realise we have another 3 quarters to wait for the final result.

They are a great side with a strong game, highly skilled and organised and we let them play on their terms. There is little else to say except that we need to rebound quickly to play North. Unfortunately we lost Aaron Fielke with a shoulder injury and Michael Still with a badly injured thumb and both will not be available for the rest of the season. It is also fair to say that a couple of fresh players will be playing next week with the hope of keeping our season alive.

Another test of character. Bring it on.

Regards,
Andrew Collins

Cool, that reduces your premiership tally just a bit, doesn't it ;)
