Congrats to thee, Port fans. Your mob showed why it has been the premier club in SANFL for the last 50 years.

Glenelg can go and get ******. Stick your memebrship up your fundament. You voted yes, and you could not beat a zombie club. Next year I will come to watch the occasional home game, and that's it.

20 years of membership down the drain. Up yours, SANFL. Good luck with selling the comp as an AFL reserves league. God knows you'll need it.

After reading through your posts gossipgirl I have come to believe you are either have little or no passion for the SANFL or Glenelg or you are a troll.

Eitherway you contibutions to this forum are meaningless and childish, bordering on the same level as dog_ger. At least his are funny sometimes.

As opposed to anyone else who posts here of course.

If you were a passionate South Australian Football supporter surely you would see and understand the level of emotion and sense of loss that is generated by having a club that plays in a rebadged VFL force their way into your comp for their own purposes and complete disregard for the SANFL faithful.

I think you are the one that should spend some time in the hall of reflection

Good onya Psuedo, thanks for the Snouts welcome! Big thanks as well to LEH, and the Snouts Spargo, Dedja and stampy - humble apologies to any I've overlooked. Always great to meet, to borrow from LEH, real footy people.

I'll leave the match comments pretty much those that know / knew the sides better, didn't see enough of the game itself in any case. With morning and early afternoon commitments I ended up getting down to the Bay (with my young daughter) around quarter time. Spent the balance of the first half at the jumping castle, much of the second half socialising. :)

Well done to all that were there. Apologies to Centurion, gone by the time I finally made it around to the northern goals.

Big thanks to Glenelg for putting on the sunshine (and the jumping castle!)

Reflecting the sentiments of others, the scenes at the end of the match I won't forget in a hurry. Magpies emeritus. Solemn, landmark occasion in the history of Australian football.

Thank f#ck that is over. Worst season in 35 years going to Bay games.
God knows what next year holds. Some promising signs from some of the kids late in the year, Hender and Hooper will be back from injury and then there's the question of who coaches?

Really good to meet and have a chat with a couple of top blokes in LEH and Straydog - I share many similar views ;)

The game itself was owned by Glenelg in the first half and port in the second. Our blokes seem to throw it in late.
Had a gut full of 2013 by then so didn't even stay afterwards at the club instead went across to the holdy and got rat arsed thus missing a club champion in Ben Mules' retirement speech

That our club didn't even consult it most important commodity, the members, before it sold out re afl teams in our league - still has me filthy and undecided what support I'll give the club next year.
I have no confidence or respect for our current president.

Massie & his future?
Pretty shit record, just quietly.

Yeah, seems common 'thread' - Directors making the call with no Member input, 'lip service' at best.
Did West even have an Info Meeting?

Seems the decision was made early by 4 Clubs at least.
Disrespectful really, considering how much time & money people have invested in their Local Clubs since the advent of AFL in SA, circa 1991.
Often as a result of the Clubs themselves pleading with supporters to become members.

Hard to respect a Club that doesn't respect it's fans - I won't be renewing or attending Eagles games after this season.
Disaffected Club supporters in the UK, start their own Club (e.g. AFC Wimbledon).
Sadly, we can't do that here :(

I intend to attend various 'Ravens' games next year & barracking hard against them... WESLO be warned ;)

I so hate the Crows & Trigg for this - they are the instigators.
Stephen Trigg & Rob Chapman are SA Football Patriots
