I teared up twice after the game. Once calling my sick Port mate, who was too ill to attend, to tell him that his team won. Once talking with Glenelg fans in the club after the game, in an existential debate about what the ******* point is in following a club which is rooted in every possible aspect.
Congrats to thee, Port fans. Your mob showed why it has been the premier club in SANFL for the last 50 years.
Glenelg can go and get ******. Stick your memebrship up your fundament. You voted yes, and you could not beat a zombie club. Next year I will come to watch the occasional home game, and that's it.
20 years of membership down the drain. Up yours, SANFL. Good luck with selling the comp as an AFL reserves league. God knows you'll need it.

If you were a passionate South Australian Football supporter surely you would see and understand the level of emotion and sense of loss that is generated by having a club that plays in a rebadged VFL force their way into your comp for their own purposes and complete disregard for the SANFL faithful.
I think you are the one that should spend some time in the hall of reflection

God knows what next year holds. Some promising signs from some of the kids late in the year, Hender and Hooper will be back from injury and then there's the question of who coaches?
Really good to meet and have a chat with a couple of top blokes in LEH and Straydog - I share many similar views![]()
The game itself was owned by Glenelg in the first half and port in the second. Our blokes seem to throw it in late.
Had a gut full of 2013 by then so didn't even stay afterwards at the club instead went across to the holdy and got rat arsed thus missing a club champion in Ben Mules' retirement speech![]()
That our club didn't even consult it most important commodity, the members, before it sold out re afl teams in our league - still has me filthy and undecided what support I'll give the club next year.
I have no confidence or respect for our current president.
