Which cheats are you referring to? Central District, South Adelaide, West Adelaide or Norwood? All have "cheated" in regards to the salary cap in the last few years.

It still makes me laugh when people continue to call Norwood cheats. They weren't over the salary cap like West and Port, they were fined as they didn't tell the SANFL that McGuiness' contract had been changed from a player one to a marketing/promotions one when he did his knee and was out for the rest of the year. Costly admin error - YES. Cheats - NO.

And the same goes for people saying that Centrals were salary cap cheats in 2000. To my knowledge, the players were all given a copy of the GF DVD by the club as gifts but when the club declared this to the league it put them over the salary cap as gifts count as payments and they copped a fine for it. Get over it people

As for the flag, you cant go past Norwood on the form they've shown this season and I wouldn't be surprised if its a Legs v Dogs GF. I would like to see a Legs v Roosters GF, that would be a huge crowd for the last game at Footy Park.

We were found to be over the cap about 5 yrs ago. But like I wrote, we weren't over the cap last year, in fact we were mile's under it. We got in trouble for not telling the SANFL of a contract change of name.
