What about Davies backflip re finals at local grounds? Seems to me that if those marshmallows at the sanfl say something, you can be pretty much guaranteed that the opposite will happen.

Well they should checked with the broadcaster before going public with that one

But then again the broadcast deal probably wasn't even completed

I thought it was me who had the biggest backflip??
For although I hate the yes vote from Norwood I have chosen to stay and support my team??
That's the reason I'm full of "pish and wind" and I'm weak!!

I'll come out and support ya Fester.
It was good to see a Norwood supporter acknowledge his club's own shortcomings and give it a well deserved spray. I don't think I've ever read such vitriol directed at one's own club as you put forward in your attack on Norwood's board.
For that I applaud you.
On the same hand, letting your anger be known isnt cause enough to give up your team, it's just communication. And at the end of the day, when we "support our club", it isn't one part of that club we support: it isn't just the players, the gurnsey, the people who turn up around you week in week out, or the board, we support the club as a whole, and to stop supporting your club because you're publically angry at one part of it would be to let down all the other parts of that same club.
No back flip there so far as I can see.

I don't quite see it that way.
I support my team. Players come and go as do board members, coaches et all.

Not sure how that disagrees with my perception of support for a club JTC.
My idea of it is I support the club as a whole. That whole has different parts within it, but my support is for the club. Players and board members coming and going and thus being lesser than the whole doesn't defy that idea in any way I can see.

So why don't such loyal Norwood and SANFL supporters do something and try oust your board ???? I admired the anger and sentiment of your post Fester but it needs to be followed thru. Otherwise they've had their way and the pinions outcry quickly dies away.

If you read my post which is full of anger, which is still there, please note nowhere does it say anything about ousting the board or my non attendance/membership.
In all honesty I wouldn't have a clue about being on a board and unless someone can put a better alternative board together I don't see what I can do??
I will however maintain the same level of support for NFC as always.
