All discussions to do with the SANFL

No idea, thought it was a disappointing turnout from two "heavyweights".

Unfortunately Sturt and Port are no longer able to use the words "heavyweights"

They are both just ordinary run of the mill sides. To get 2419 to that game on a Sunday was a pretty good effort by both teams supporters who still care about the SANFL. All SANFL clubs work very hard to get their supporters to attend club matches, what $h!t$ me the most is the AFL purists that go to every home game played in Adelaide that have no interest in their old club at all and dont have a clue wether they won or lost.

Ohh the irony of a South supporter commenting on crowds!

If Sturt and Port can't use the term "heavyweight" given they do both draw good crowds as a general rule and have very high membership bases, I would love to debate what words, terms etc. we should use to describe the SAFC, their membership and crowds both home and away???

Agreed.
For this reason I've wished for years we'd be able to get along with them. I still believe that a Magpies vs (anyone of) Sturt/Norwood/Glenelg/North Grand Final would get 40,000 plus. It was great to hear that the Power thinks enough of the Magpies not to take action that'd spell the end of them. I just hope we can trust them when they say that.

6th versus 8th (and equal bottom) and both sides have been resting at or near the bottom of the ladder for three or four years now. Might be heavyweights but you wouldn't expect tooich more than how many turned up considering recent performances.

We all know football shouldn't be played on a Sunday. ;)
