Its time for the player to make up his own mind where he wants to be at the moment.

I dont think Port will move him.
Cant see him being on their list next year
I think he has dropped his bundle in realisation he may not play AFL again. Has always given his best to the NFC in the past but appears very flat ATM

Golden passes

Yep, Jim 1 JK nil (Howard Webb involved? ;) )

I'd heard he'd be demoted this week .. Although whilst he wasn't good against Port, I thought his 3 games prior had shown improved form. Hopefully has a blinder this week and silences a few of us critics.

As usual the 21 lads wearing our Club's Guernsey this week will have my 100% support, regardless of wether I agree with their selection or not.

Hopefully Seccull goes well in his debut. Like the inclusion of Shaw, deserves a shot after a solid year in the twos. (will no doubt please the power also ;) ) Stribling back in is no real surprise.

From that bench I'd drop Snook, and probably Ah Chee. Schwarz has show a little bit in and under, but needs to tidy up disposal. Worth persisting with. Snook has battled for 5 or 6 weeks. Seemed very reactionary on Saturday.

Snook should not play league. Been crap the past few weeks.
Achee was ordinary last week as well .
Thewlis had better lift his game or he could be captaining us from the reserves!

I wish people would just name these players instead of pussy footing around. Are we afraid of hurting feelings?

Are we talking about phillips? For me he can definetly have his quiet patches but he can also at times flashes his afl quality and can be a game turner? Are we talking about pheiffer? To me he doesnt look interested , dropping him to the reserves might wake him up..

To me saying that certain players are getting a gold pass and not naming them is weak

Pfeiffer and Panos are the gold pass holders IMO

Thankyou Jim. Now i know who people are talking about we can debate it. Panos is an interesting one. Until 2 weeks ago i would have agreed he should be dropped. Then he comes and kicks 7 against West. Can we afford to drop someone with that kind of ability? There is not much else up forward at the moment. I am guessing that Jericho is enjoying himself overseas and wont be coming back.

Take that 7 against Westies away and Panos has 11 goals from 9 games which is pathetic for a key forward. Runs around half arsed most games and doesnt compete hard enough IMO.
Frustrating because with his talent I thought he would dominate and kick 50-60.
Injury has hampered Pfeiff but this year just doesnt look interested.
Hopefully they both turn it around because I dont think we will go too far this year without both playing decent roles

I keep looking at the side and I still think they are ,as individuals, as strong as we have had for some time. As a team, they do not gel. I don't know why.

Weather forecast may make this a tighter affair . I still have hope that we can improve significantly for the rest of the season. I'm really looking a forward to SECCUL playing and I think he may the harder inside player that we miss at times. Good to see Daniel and Haines and the other recent young debutants still playing as they are our future.

I expect us to put everything on the line just as we I'd against Glenelg in wet conditions. As per usual, I expect us to win.

If you follow Norwood as closely as you say it's really not that hard to work out.
