Actually enjoyed the game. Both teams showed good skills in the wet.
Sturt are not that bad but they have no belief. As previously mentioned it appeared that they knew they could not win. That club need a more inspirational coach IMHO...... bring back Fabulous Phil !
For an umpire to pay deliberate out of bounds after a player has had a shot for goal really shows what class of clown we have running around out there. Pack your bags don't come Monday !

Interesting observation re: lack of belief. I actually felt as though we wouldn't win just by looking at the fixture: "Sturt vs Norwood at the Parade?" no hope. But decided against posting something so negative before the game. Whereas when we played West at Unley last week, a fixture we usually go well in, I was full of confidence before the game and looks as though the lads were also, narrowly going down by 7 points in the end. This mental problem has been evidenced in fade outs contrasting with purple patches where we've outplayed the league's best for between 10 minutes to a half of football. I reckon if we van just get upstairs working right we'll start winning more than we lose.
Agree with the Phil Carmen comment, though I don't know much about how Maloney's coaching. Everyone tipped us to finish clear bottom, so he can't be performing too much below par.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail
