Not a game that reached any great heights. Both teams had their chances but inaccurate goal kicking at key times saw neither team take any momentum during the match.

Thought Martin and Kane were best for Sturt, while Macreadie, Mangain and Hartlett were best for the bloods.

Left the game (like I did last week against port) with mixed feelings. Happy to win ugly after being behind at 3/4 time, but more worried that our past fortnight of footy against weaker opposition has seen us just get over the line before coming up against north and Norwood in the next 2 weeks.

Missed the game today. I didn't think Still deserved to be in the team on his reserves form but looks like he was the difference between the two sides with 5 goals. Mangan has been great for the Bloods this year and had 13 marks today.
Two big weeks coming up with North and Norwood before the bye. Need to improve a bit to be competative with these teams.

Sturt's three leading possession winners were three Crows listed players.

Take the bulk of AFL players out of Sturt and they would struggle even more I would think? A good example of that is Glenelg who to date with their wins were being carried by their AFL contigent and they have been exposed since losing them especially today.

So far the top 3 sides have not had to rely on AFL players being the difference. I know people will have a crack at me re North but we have won well without Johnston over the past 2 games - he was off early against Nwd and had no impact whbefore he was injured. Stewart has only had 1 standout game for us so far this year and that was last week. Moore has been ok when he was with us and got called up for the past 3 games and we haven't missed him and Blee has been servicable but he would make no difference to us if he wasn't playing to be honest.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Listened to the game, west just got their goals easier. We had our chances but missed goals when it countered. Frustrating.
