Is Joyce a bit lucky to be in the side? I don't recall his name in the Reserves best players this season.

I reckon the Crows have been in Godden's ear and said if you don't play him this week we'll take him away from you. Look for a similar situation with Ellis-Yolman next week.

To be fair, I don't think either are ready for League SANFL let alone AFL. Ellis Yolman is more advanced but cannot find a position he is suited to. The Crows like him in the midfield but he is too slow for that. Makes a few skill errors by foot as well though these can be stampted out with experience.

Still a good team though even without Smith and Vince.

I'm tipping Eagles by 4 goals

Happy Karpany is still in
Mitchell will be better for last weeks match . Look for his leg speed and ball magnet abilities .
Almond will also be better for the run my god eagles missed him last year !!
But most of all watch Sumner !! All the hype went to the afl players last week but he took that ball out of the back line so often last week awesome !

Agree MrF. Ellis-Yolman has had plenty of opportunities, and not heaps of competition, to nail down at least a wing or half-back position. Thought Joyce looked okay in a couple games last year, but then at other times went missing, so would be hoping he'd be able to contribute at league level now.
I like the team too, but I'd still like them to give Fitzgerald an extended run at FF, especially seeing as Grocke is injured.
Maggies won't be a pushover. Their fight got them over the line against the Bays, and we never seem to have big wins against them.

NO but just seem to get the right decisions by the maggots at the right time to sneak over the line.

What complete and utter bull dust Wedgie. Some people read what they want to read. Not once did I write that no-one should be offered a free ticket. I think it's a great initiative from PH to bump up the attendance.

I can't even go to the game, (despite a gracious offer from Phil) so was raising the issue on behalf of other Football Park Members.
