Not that it will ever happen BUT I would love to see the SANFL open the gates and make it free(or gold coin donation) for each teams first home game of the year!

Would be a great experiment to see whether numbers throughout the year would pick up, how much would catering/bar takings make extra etc etc.

Even if they did it as a one off to a 'lesser' attending game like south v central or west vs eagles surely it couldn't hurt to try once and if it fails put it in the trash bin.

When you buy a walk up ticket only 1/9th of the $14 price goes to that home club. Better value and support via a membership.

I think only one oval could possibly go and that's unley. And let's face it, it's not really an oval, it's a park. Sturt based at Norwood oval or Richmond could raise alot more revenue than unley anyway
I love vegatarian food. It goes great with steak.

Although its on the other side of town, could Sturt look at using Thebby oval for some home games? It's empty most weekends, some SAAFL games are played there but I would think it'd be pretty easy to organise the games around each other i.e. Sturt Friday night/SAAFL Saturday or vice-versa.
