Very sad - commiserations to his family, friends and club mates

Very sad news indeed, I briefly met David in his time at the Eagles and he was a fine young man. 26 is just way too young for this to be happening. Damned cancer !!!. My comiserations to all of David's family and friends in this very testing time.

Awful news. Faaaarking cancer gets way too many of us and it is bad enough when victims are in their 60s or 70s but at 26 it is completely unfair.

Sad news. Obviously a talented footballer, and life's too precious a thing to lose at just 26.
Condolences to his family and friends.

Rotten news at any age but doubly sad at 26.

Golly - that is just terrible to hear.
For someone to die in that way and at such a young age, is quite simply unfair.
All the best to his family and friends.
