Who wouldve thought Centrals would have been born, endured winless seasons and 40 goal losses and won 9 flags all since Souths last flag.

Central was competing at league level in the year that South won its last flag. So not born, but certainly still in nappies...

And they are still full of shit to this day.

OK, so it looks the same colour as the stripes on Glenelg's? (lol serious question because it dead-set looks Orange on my monitor)

Certainly looks different to the Bays yellow. Just had a look back at my pics from last year at the brewery and it looks the same as what was on the full size chimney...not yellow but wouldn't say it was gold either. (or orange )

Thought there would have been some comment by now but on TV last night Channel 2 ( I think ) commentator advised regarding the brewey clour unvieling :

Norwood have relaced the red white and blue that has been on the chimney for many years. Norwood supporter were overjoyed to see the red and blue replace the Centrals colours....... words to that effect.

If you squint your eyes the silver of the chimney looks white, meaning that the famous red white and blue is still atop the chimney!

I really think the West End chimney is one of the great enduring traditions of the SANFL. Love driving past and seeing the colours up there during the year ...... just been too long for us Redlegs supporters.
Sure the Eagles and Centrals supporters feel the same.

What's a real insult, is anyone who thought this club wasn't going to react dramatically straight away after what was a bad year allround.
Starting with the coach, the results onfield this year were so far off what he would expect, a significant recruiting blitz was top priority once club stalwarts were farewelled.
The players left now are under no illusions and games will be earned the right way next season.
Liberties were taken this season but well executed recruiting will give Godden the tools he craves to play a more aggressive brand of footy.
Smart aggressive "Eagles" footy is what will take on the comp next year, and after viewing the GF we won't be alone in hoping for a change in teams already.
