Carlisle was amongst our best today, cant see him being out of the Power side for very long,

Carlisle? Are we talking about the fat guy in the back lines?

Seriously, I was embarrassed for South Adelaide that he was even on the park. He was a hugely fat, slow, hopeless player who looked completely uninterested in the game and watching him on the day, I can't even imagine how he ever got to play AFL ever.

Very harsh cs.... Expected better than that from you.

BOG on the day .... Port power are the ones who should be embarrassed for dropping him!!

Any sanfl side would not say NO to having him in the defense .

... And for the record for what I have been told he loved having a kick with the boys yesterday .... Im sure he will be back with the power very soon though.
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

OK... I feel suitably guilty now... but geez he just looked so disinterested, jogging about, lazy kicks, just didn't seem to be all that fussed about what was going on, just like he was kicking it about in the parklands.

He looked unfit too, which frankly seems to be the reason he was dropped by Port, he can't possibly be up to it the way he looked yesterday. Based on what I saw, I wouldn't want him fronting up for Sturt.

That said, we do have Duldig as has been pointed out... and he's no fitness machine (not that I am either!).

Although there were rumours floating about that Bobby was sighted lining up for a quick snag or two at the half time interval, he played a pretty reasoanble game I thought. Did what he had to.

Bad loss. If we'd won the top five would still be in reach, a slight buffer from the spoon in place, and had a couple of handy points against a mid- table contender. Not that we'd had any real claim to anything save missing the bottom, hope for making the finals this season is being snuffed out. Spoon looming as a possibility.
Congrats South for making the most of 4 quarters. I hope you can carry the form forward and storm the finals, that would make the season interesting.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail
