There may be some inconsistency on how clubs determine their membership numbers?

Does it include dogs membership?

No just confirming no "free" memberships are included in the numbers and Phil would know.

I'd also be interested in seeing how many home match/season ticket holders each club had. To me that would be a good indication as to who had the best numbers of "hard core" supporters who attended games on a regular basis.

I'm assuming, (Maggies being the obvious example), that a lot of memberships would be purchased by supporters wanting to financially help their club without necessarily going to many, (if any), games.
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

Home Match Crowds in 2012
- Eagles (3rd) - 4 games, 12,984 - average 3,246 per game
- North (9th) - 4 games, 8.958 - average 2,240 per game
(North 4,026 behind the Eagles with 6 games left ... can the Roosters catch up?, can they even pass West 2,326pg (8th) and South 2,376pg (7th) to avoid having the lowest home match crowds in the league this year?)

Yesterday's crowd at Prospect would mean that North have well and truly gone past both West and South's average crowds so far this year. And remember that 3 of North's 5 home games have been telecast live which must affect the gate, especially with the inclement weather against the Eagles and the freezing weather yesterday against Norwood.

Sturt on 2957. I think this is a really good result for the club, likely to topple 3000.
Well done.
