Hi,

I just wanted to thank Life FM and those that put far more time than they would be paid in to covering the SANFL on the radio. The Life FM broadcasts are professional and represent the SANFL very well throughout the entire season. I understand that the AFL does have a place in coverage of the SANFL as not only are there current AFL players playing in the competition but also many aspiring and past AFL players which make our SANFL competition all the better. I also understand that given the coverage of AFL and its standing as the highest level football competition in the land, tactics and other influences may filter through to the SANFL which may need to be covered in your broadcast.

Keep up with your coverage of the SANFL. I know I am not the only person that enjoys listening to your coverage.

Thank you

I have no problem if they talk about AFL in relation to SANFL but they were talking about the AFL competition and did not bring into the conversation about how it relates to the SANFL or what was happening in the game at the time. It was clearly this guy wanting to talk about the AFL and in particular Adelaide.

If you are happy to have an SANFL broadcast overtaken by AFL then we may as well give up on the SANFL now because if we can't expect the SANFL to be promoted during a broadcast of a State match played by SANFL players then what's the point!

Surely the SANFL (and whatever AFL Control due to $$$ has) cannot be serious in having SA drawn against the NEAFL? Blockbuster games and crowds there!

The ONLY positive I can see is that it may give SANFL Reserves level players a chance to represent the State!

Didn't Western Australia only scrape over the line recently against the Queensland/North Conference side?

Only if you define scraping in as over 20 goals.

Hmm 6 points after WA put the cue in the rack early in the last quarter.

Maybe QLD had "ring in's" because the standard of their best QAFL sides in the 2 years of the Foxtel Cup have been at best just at our Ressies standard IMO.

The side WA beat by 6pts in 2011 in Mandurah was Queensland only.

The side SA will play in 2013 will be players from Qld & NT ... that said I want an excuse for a footy trip to the Gold Coast :D

I spoke with someone who watched the NEAFL State game last weekend and they said to me it was the equivalent of a good quality reserves game.
