Made it along for the second half on Saturday (was shopping with the missus with the agreement we'd go after half time).... Once it was raining I said if we're 10 goals down when we get there we'll just keep driving... Was more than happy to stand in the rain for the second half when we drove past and it was 70-14 at HT in our favour....

Not too often you can sit and relax and just watch your team go about their business dominating as they were..... Its funny to see how passionate some supporters get even when there is a 70-80 point difference - still abusing the umpires, still abusing fellow supporters... One Eagles supporter behind us went ballistic 10 mins into the third quarter.... I mean come on mate, I think the game was gone... Maybe they should try looking at what their players were doing rather than blaming the umpires....

I think the game you are referring to was Sat 5th June 2010 NA 15 10 100 SA 13 9 87. Crowd figure was 1500 but their are doubts on that by those of us who attended. That game was also on TV and against the Crows as well. North led by 48 points at one stage over halfway through the game but held on to win by 13 points from a fast finishing South. No dubious umpiring that day - the last 2 North goals were as a result of frees but replay's showed both were correct and if I remember correctly South got at least 6 of their goals from free's that day?

August 20th 2010 vs South at Prospect 1122 attended - North won that by 40 points 17-11 to 11-7. That is a record low crowd.

Re last Saturday - live on ABC, poor weather, Crows playing at AAMI and the Eagles having a small supporter base so all the ingredients for a low crowd.
