I assume your post was deleted because you persist in personal attacks ... and you continue to do so.

Your specific questions were:

Were these reasons given when Mickan was sacked?
Well, not in the detail that was provided at the AGM, but certainly the President did indicate at the time that Mickan did not meet agreed performance measures.

If not, why not?
The details weren't provided in detail so as to not provoke a media circus and for respect for Mickan, as his public comments at the time were somewhat contradictory to those of the Board.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

Because they are lies.

According to a since left assistant coach, Mickan has documents that were signed off on at all of those meeting to say he had met every performance objective put in place by the review.

Well, it's his word against the Board ... guess who has the bigger stick.

Rubbers had his contract paid out in full so the case is now closed and it's time to move on.

Thanks LT. We, well most would assume that, in fact it now seems obvious. Its pretty obvious to most but others still seem naive. Fair enough my post was deleted as it was personal to you dedja. My post was very accurate in describing you and my perception of you but at least you are capable of some self awareness and I hope my truthful yet cutting remarks about you were not hurtful. Look forward to your picture and thanks for eventually answering my question, maybe do that to start with instead of your boring crap.

What would an Eagles supporter know?

I find it hard to believe how a President could stand up at the AGM and explain his reasons to the sacking of Mark and for those reasons to be untruthful, and those reasons are now on record.

Exactly my point. Accordingly, Mickan has copies of the key performance indicators, signed off on, every month, following the review, right up to his sacking. I can clearly remember him and Rowey saying this on radio at the time of the sacking.

Although my information does not come from Rowey, it comes from a since departed assistant coach, who was also witness to the fact that Mickan was told that he was meeting all KPIs put in place by the board. The Board had better be sure of its ability to defend itself should Mickan decide to come out and defend his reputation, which has clearly now been soiled by Metcalf at the AGM. Particularly since all of the KPIs were measurable and have that stats available to back them up.

Rubbish. Were you at the AGM? In no way did Metcalf "soil" Marks reputation.

You never answredd my question but I didn't expect a logical knowledgeable answer from you . Good for you going to the AGM , obviously for social contact certainly would not have had anything to do with footy.

No issue with Mickan, just interested why these reasons for his ruthless sacking are now public but were not 6 months ago.

He's right dedja, you often don't answer peoples questions, I'm still up at night wondering if I'll get an answer to questions from last year. I'm not sure just how long I can go on with this burden.
