Thanks for yet another mention, otr, but I don't think I've mentioned the salary cap for years.

Good that you're still thinking of me, though ;)

Now, we all know his history, but can someone tell me why he wouldn't be a good fit at westies, this guy kicked 70 odd goals in half a season in the VFL, hasn't westies problem been, not being able to kick a winning score, don't know what you other westies supporters think, but for me, if he wants to come, let him, cause i'm sure i'm not the only supporter out there who has had enough of seeing this great club struggle for the last, what 10 years.

I tend to agree Tubby - depending on financial demands I think any talented player is a good fit at our club. I do recoil a bit when I hear AFL terminology like "good fit" used at SANFL level.

Exactly, gg. Getting tired of clubs (both SANFL and AFL) rabbiting on about "development" and the "right fit" when they should be concerned about winning and entertaining.

It's a more PC way of saying they're going with a "No D**kheads" policy.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

They'd probably struggling to field more than half a team with a "No major D'heads" policy. ;)

Is it true Big Fev walked into Westies and basically said, "if you can't afford 5 grand (a game) you're not in the hunt"?

If it was 5 grand a winning game we could accommodate him.
