The mix of styles of Norwood and West makes for a shit game.
Strange thing to me was when West played positive football they moved the ball well. Why not work on that aspect rather than that defensive crap they prefer to play ?
A good coach and 2 or 3 players would produce a good side IMHO.

Hope we are taking a leaf from Centrals book and not peaking too early. Centrals do it every year and peak at the right time after an average July/August.
The game at the Ponderosa should decide the minor premiership ( even if the Dogs lose to the Eagles today ) and answer a few questions.

It was a good game.

The first quarter was bizarre, No goals were scored, yet it was a very open game all day.

Terrible game to watch, Norwood played decent footy for 15mins in the 3 Qtr and that was it.

Just like our last month and a bit. One good quarter, and that's it.

Need to lift BIG TIME in the run home to stand a chance come finals.

Not sure who was more responsible tactically, but end result was about the worst game of footy i've seen for a long time. The Norwood West game earlier in the season at Richmond wasn't much better either.

Norwood have the ability to tactically stick players behind the ball/flood and still score a reasonable score, Westies dont really seem to be able to. While it was only 3 goals in the end, I dont think I was ever worried Norwood would lose.

``In the last quarter I had to put them both back and ironically we got some good rebound out of Morris and some good rebound out of Caire.'' Andy Collins

Not sure about irony, more like the only move you made all day that worked was accidental. Our best footy all year has been these two guys, ball in hand running from defence and generating something resembling quick movement. Obviously had some outs in the midfield but sadly got this one wrong. Morris has been up there with Sansbury as the best running defenders in the comp. Surely you start the game with your best player for the year in his most effective position.
