Rowey and Fielkie (?) recently said they took a pay cut when they played for the Crows. Hence Fielkie used to flog all the Crows gear for his sports store (subsidy). But, MacIntosh may have been offered more.

You are drawing a very long bow with that comment, Garry MacIntosh played for the Norwood Football Club, full stop

The point is Rowey and Fielkie (to use two examples) didn't join the AFL for the money.

Walker's one game suspension stands, Norwood failed to get the charge downgraded.

Wasn't the 1 game for an early plea? Seeing that he went to the tribunal, shouldn't he have got the 3 weeks?

I think they successfully argued which reduced his points, but still didn't get them down enough to be below the 1 match threshold.

I believe the Crows wanted to introduce AFL footage as part of their defence for Walker which the SANFL disallowed.

Serious question:
Sounds out there but:

Walker given 1 weeks suspension

Crows obviously wanted him to play on Friday Night, hence the risk of getting more weeks was taken on with the commission tribunal.

Does the 1 week suspension apply to Friday Night's Crows game therefore is free to play for Norwood on Sunday

Apparantly AFL and SANFL are reciprocal for suspension, ie; suspended from AFL cannot play for SANFL and viz versa, so 1 week served on Friday Night suspension is served???

Cheers,

No, he has to miss a game where the suspension is served, i.e. SANFL

Even if Norwood played Friday night, he wouldnt be eligible for the Crows Sat or Sun, has to sit out the whole weekend.

It looks like it is going to be a busy night at the SANFL tribunal tomorrow night if all players contest their charges !!!

Adam Grocke (Eagles) Striking

Craig Parry (Eagles) Rough Conduct

Not surprised Barmby got reported if it was for the incident in the last quarter that started North's run of goals. Given his record, anything more than a reprimand would be excessive though.

Sutherland, I'm hoping for a reprimand but wouldn't be surprised if he gets a week.

Parry's up again, fresh off his last holiday
