Having a chat with the bro and we came to the conclusion that it may be possible to achieve 3rd spot this year with as little as 11 wins due to the cut-throat nature of the competition.
You would think that barring unforseen circumstances, Central and Norwood would occupy 1st and 2nd. If the Eags can win 3 out of their next 6 games, Glenelg and South would have to win 5 of 6 games left to overtake them. Port or West could get away with 5 wins out of 7 games left given their % is so close to the Eags. If the Eags win 4 out of 6, it is difficult to see them losing 3rd spot but their run is fairly tough - WA (A), CD (H), G (H), SA (A), WA (H), PA (A). There are so many '4' point games left in the season involving the 5 clubs in the mix.
As for teams to make 4th and 5th, that's another story and one I hope the eags are well and truly not involved in!
