FIRST HALF
Scrappy first qtr with numerous turnovers, but there were excuses with the windy conditions
Half a dozen out of bounds on the full marred the game
Second qtr was an excellent standard, SA played very well into the breeze, very few turnovers both teams
UMPIRES
IF you didnt count the last goal in the first half the umps were very very good
Perhaps the best umpiring in a half of footy Ive seen this year
That last goal was iffy deep in the EG forward line
Nick Liddle tackled Rimmington, and no holding the ball
Goldsworthy tackled Liddle in a similar tackle seconds after, holding the ball paid[and WWT scored a luckyish goal]
Pity, as it was a near faultless exhibition of umpiring apart from that
DANIEL BASS
24 year old ruckman playing his 6th game
Some good tapping to his sMALler players, did a couple of nice things
Might be a good player
TYSON BROWN
18 year old on debut
Brilliant soccering skills to set up a goal in the 2nd qtr, and a nice tackle soon after
Looks a real goer
Listed at 70kg, making him the lightest listed player on the ground
BRODIE SMITH
This is the life of Brodie
Adelaide Crows
SA seconds
WWT league team
Next week ...
Ironically played for SA last week, and against them this game !
NICK SALTER
Appeared to play mainly in defence in this half
WWT had averaged 76 points per game leading into this game
Im thinking maybe Nick would be better off in attack from the start
2ND HALF
WWT good third qtr
SA good last qtr
Best side on the day won
Umpiring was a good standard
SA deserved to win
