So you mean despite better facilities at Adelaide Oval crowds aren't improving and catering remains a farce?
Geezus, I couldn't see that happening!

Don't blame me, I voted Liberal!

In general, maybe a little down (I'm sure PhilH can shed more light) but I think the point PhilH made mention in here (or another thread) is that when there is a Norwood v Port game on a couple of kms up the road at the Parade, that will take away a lot of neutral fans who would normally head along to AO.

Correct. I would definitely have gone if Norwood wasn't playing. Poor planning on SANFL's behalf

HEAR! HEAR!
Why wasn't the Glenelg/Sturt game played on Sunday ?
Thanks to 'The Good Guys' rivalry round free tickets I only got to see the Norwood/Port, West/Eagles and Central/South
games over the weekend. Who's responsible for this travesty of justice? I demand to see all 4 games every weekend !
Don't they realise that far too much football is barely enough? Heads must roll! Don't they realise the irreparable damage
this does to family life? I was nearly forced to spend an entire day with Fort Battle-Axe!
Lift your games gentlemen! It's just not good enough !!!

Wait 'til Keka hears about THIS !

My apologies if this is a little off topic, but I have just realised that your avatar isn't a picture of someone hitting his own face with a tennis racket.
And then I thought, "Oh yeh...Sabre. It all fits."
But I still like the way I used to think it looked better.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Sounds like you've seen me play tennis somewhere.
;)
If it makes you feel better 'trb', Fort Battle-Axe once knocked me out with her squash racket.
It doesn't pay to get too many points ahead of 'The Living Horror'. She still claims it slipped
out of her hand with perspiration, but everyone knows it landed exactly where she threw it.
For a week, my black eye brought smiles to her face that I hadn't seen in 15 years.
You just have to admire that kind of hand/eye co-ordination and accuracy.
Thank God we never took up pistol shooting !
