Port are already stating that their crowds could rise by 30% with the shift to Adelaide Oval.
Whilst there could and probably will be a bounce in figures i would be very wary of predictions of support coming out of Alberton, we've heard this stuff before they entered the AFL and they turned out to be, quite frankly, wishful thinking.
Just don't put any reliance on what they say.
Still, this is good news for everyone, and if it gives Port and the Crows increased financial vitality all to the good.

Yeah and Port estimated their crowds would rise by bringing in the creed and then one club and look how that turned out.
Adelaide Oval result was their deathknell as they'll have one less excuse removed after the initial nobody wears off.

If both Port and the Crows done expect attendances to increase reasonably significantly with this then theres really no point at all in upgrading the oval

The creed has been part of the Port Adelaide Football Club for many years, we didn't just "bring it in".

The One Club initiative has been running since November last year and has really only been in place, officially, since the beginning of this year, hardly time to see the benefits of it in the stands.

Surprised you entered into anti-Port Adelaide debate though.
PAFC. Forever.

It seems to fit.

Port's crowds will increase due to the curiosity factor. Hopefully for the sake of SA footy, they'll have turned around the on field ineptitude by then and actually try to hang on to the neutrals.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Dont know about the neutrals going for Port. Dont know whether its the Ablett hype or not but at my local club i noticed at training the other night 4 of the under 13 kids had gold coast tops on. One of them is my son!!! All of the kids have become junior GC members aswell. Maybe they are just the flavour of the month but just wondering if around other leagues this is also apparent.

This doesn't help. Just heard that 1 of Port's major sponsors, MyATM, will more than likely "cancel" its 5 year sponsorship at the end of this year, its 1st year. Apparently its share prices have plummeted. More bad news.
