Congratulations James Gallagher - 200 Games

Assuming he is fit and plays on Saturday morning against the Magpies, Norwood skipper James Gallagher will this weekend play his 200th league game for the Norwood Football Club.

A fantastic achievement to play 200 games at any level, let alone one the highest standard state leagues in the land. Obviously he had some time on the Crows list as well and played a few AFL games back in the mid 2000's.

He has always been a player I have admired and I think he has been a great leader for the Legs since taking over as captain.


Well done Gags, good luck on the weekend, you'll now join the illustrious members in the 200 Club.

I always worry when he gets the ball because he almost always finds a teammate in good position with it. Great to see a fabulous SANFL lineage carried on like this.

If he had a more penetrating kick on goal from within the 50 he would have played 200 games for the Crows but he is a real Norwood stalwart and a continuation of the Gallagher tradition at the world's best football club.
