Not to appear in 2011? I've come to rely on it over the past few seasons.

The Advertiser has their SANFL liftout in today's edition, although that may not be any use to you if you're in Tasmania.

Hi guys...

Yes Peter Argent and myself did not proceed with a 2011 SANFL Season Guide.

Last year's 300 page effort proved to be our best yet and of the four I have done since 2006 it was the best seller.

However two issues arose

- I had some non football matters that took up a lot of my personal time during the off season which is usually directed towards the guide.

- We were quite disapointed with the behaviour of the large majority of SANFL clubs who took until 2011 to reconcile their accounts with us. Indeed there are three clubs who received a small number guides on March 17th 2010 and now some 54 weeks later are still to pay us anything for them or even return any unsold books.

Combined it was hard to get the motivation to put in hours required to put it together.

That said Peter & I looked at another project that we think has just as much value for diehard SANFL fans. It didnt quite fit in time to start in 2011 but we are going to have a serious crack at it for 2012 as we work through the criteria required. .... Stay Tuned

Being drunk for a month just because the Packers won the SuperBowl doesnt really count though Phil ;)

But seriously... is there any chance of somehow getting a doco series similar to Americas Game but using SANFL premiership teams...

Thanks for all the previous editions, Phil. As I said, it's missed. Just one aspect of this in particular...the most recent team head-to-head results for a given fixture. Does anyone know of a resource for obtaining these (i.e. without having to go through previous results round-by-round)?
