South are the first SANFL club with any common sense
re: alternative uniforms.
Hooray. \:D/

How exactly is that when North release their alternative uniform was exactly the same concept, ie reverse home jumper? :?

And Centrals had something similar in 2008 and part of 2009. Once again, the simplest is the most effective.

That's a fair call too, I like that one also.

It's good that footy clubs are finally catching on to what a lot of us have been saying for years.

Nick liddles' looks the best for mine and I do like the hooped socks .

Going by the photo setup one would expect the odds on Nick Murphy becoming Souths next captain will be shortening dramatically...... 8)

I have heard from a good source Nick Murphy has the captancy. Not announced yet but very soon.
Also those Gurnseys look great love the white.

I can't see the point of these alternate jumpers. By some miracle, SANFL survived without them for more than a century.

The only time they might actually be needed is in interleague games like the foxtel cup.

Watched an internal trial tonite, Blue against White and the new white jumper looks great. The new lights were also impressive lighting up the ground. Players to stand out included new recruits Joel Cross, Brent Macleod and Andrew Ainger. Big Keegan Brooksby was also impressive. Look for improvement from South this year! Watch out for the "Black Panther" Emannuel Irra" this boy is quick!

Emannuel Irra is a talented young player. Has improved greatly in the last couple of years.
