Has always amazed me how the clowns doing the SANFL programming give Port Maggies a bye when the Power is playing away, so no game for Port supporters in Adelaide - WHY?

You are exactly right. And what about when the Power are playing interstate and they program a Maggies game at the same time. Then there is the case of the Crows having a home game on a Saturday afternoon. The logical thing would be to program a maggies game, but I know of one case this year where North and South were programmed. Then they wonder why they got the smallest crowd in history at Prospect Oval.

The Magpies obviously dont ask for it, bit like how they didnt ask for an 125th anniversary game at AAMI, yet expected everyone to change once the draw was out

Trigg was on the radio referring to the time preference of their "customers" and was then followed up by Haysman talking about "match day experience"...... FFS, what have they done to football

Neither do I, but the Power want the Magpies as a curtain raiser to one of their games. To me that helps Port Magpies and not the other team. If there is to be an SANFL curtain raiser, why not two other teams.

I'm not sure it helps the magpies as they lose a home game.

Having said that I hope they don't have curtain-raisers although I would still go and watch the game if West were plaiying in it. Just leave before the power game.

Wouldn't work as they'd be a bit embarassed if most of the crowd rocked up as the Power game was finishing!
