why wouldn't we?
Our criticism of him at the time was about his coaching & where it was taking us, it wasn't personal.

But the defence is of his coaching as well. It's just a little confusing.

FWIW, I also think dickhead is harsh. Meathead is more appropriate.

It's the same criticism at Perth. It was a definite love hate thing going on, the B&F winner got up and thanked him from the heart for what Jarman did for his footy, yet there are blokes who reckon he's a dickhead of the highest order and glad to see the back of him, we've got players coming back because he's gone. If it wasn't personal at North, was his desk "interfered" with by some players?

His footy knowledge is second to none but his ideas on sports psychology were outdated and simplistic.

IMO Andrew's other problem is that he cant deal with different personality types.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Interesting.

If he genuinely does have interviews with "a couple of AFL teams" then it must be the Crows and the Power then because he said he was only leaving to move back to Adelaide for family reasons. Wonder if the family reasons would have kicked in if Freo of West Coast offered him a position.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Wants a coaching job and to be taken seriously but cant help but be a clown.

Clubs dont take risks with people who play the clown because when you go through tough times clowns make your club look unproffesional.

It's a double edged sword. Brought a lot of excitement to the club when he arrived with his media profile but need to get the runs on the board.

Perth have gone the other way for next year, the new coach is very subdued by comparison.

True, but it's not like Perth can go backwards after this year.
