Well done Eagles during the year and during the finals.
I have a great deal of respect for your club and Sunday it increased. With the injuries you had it was a great effort.
We had some great tussles this year and we came out on top in the last three. The second game at Woodville was a ripper.
Great job to rid the finals of Sturt and Glenelg and send the gay brigade off to the tennis.

Thought number 4 ...Parry ?......was great in ruck and who is number 3 in the back line ? Played well.

Great to have the Legs back in the finals and win back some respect after 4 years of BS from the world's worst coach.

Yeah, Craig Parry is number 4 for the Eagles and that number 3 in defence is veteran Luke Jarrad, very good player also...

NW 1-3
EG 6-7

Much has been rightfully said about the inactivity of Grocke that hurt the Eags
But at that scoreline star Eag Luke Powell was crunched by Zorzi
It was a big crunch, and Powell left the ground

The next few minutes didnt go the Eags way
Polec had a shot that hit the post
NW 1-3
EG 6-8
Would have been a 40 point lead if he goaled
The only other score was a SHENTON goal
that made it
NW 2-3
EG 6-8

Did the temporary loss of Luke Powell impact on the result ?
