They are but they don't get a seat i.e. must sit on your lap. Not that I can see them enforcing that.....

Maybe this is one of the reasons that attendance has been dropping. I find $10 for a car park over the top and the other prices are on the high side. Many families would find it difficult to find the cash.

Grand Final attendances have been on the rise the past few years, and since the lead-in finals returned to AAMI the Grand Final is the only final the SANFL charges for parking, so not sure if you can link those two.

A family of say 4 on the bus return would cost how much ? About the same yeah ? No drama. No one makes you buy food from the venue, and the actual cost to get in is great value for 3 games of Footy.

$10 for parking is pretty steep IMHO. Especially when they won't be expecting a full house.

$10 is cheap compared to most places in Australia!
I pay $12 a day so could afford $10 once a year!
Some car parking in Sydney is up to about $50!

For a league that is trying to place itself as an affordable place to take families, every penny counts. $5 car park would sit much better with many. Particularly now there is a second AFL GF to compete with and there was already a slowdown with $5 entry.

Once the tickets are added in, even bringing food from home, there is very little left for a few beers or pies.

Have to agree...

$40 family ticket
$20 for adults
$5 for kids
$5 car park

That's reasonable.

But once again - money grabbing.
Wonder what will be the asking prices @ Adelaide Oval ???

I found that no concession is given to Seniors Card holders, what a joke, you pay taxes all your life to both State and Federal Governments and assist with the loans to the SANFL to build Footy Park in the first place and you get treated like that at the gate.

But if I am unemployed, well different story!!!!!

I am a self funded retiree, but I get some concessions via the Seniors Card, why doesn't Footy Park (SANFL), I recon we should all send a note to our Pollies and have the new funding for the new oval rejected unless they change that policy (attitude) quick smart.
