and now cricket has it's own issues which mean the results are controversial even before it occurs.

SMS I received last week.....

"India defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets next Thursday."

I too look forward to footy season more and more because cricket becomes more predictable in results, not in the run of the game per se.

It'll be straight into the other prolate spheriod kicking season with the Magners League and Heineken Cup to follow my other redlegged ones for me...Go DOC...Go Munster :D Closely followed by the Six Nations to take me up to the next footy season.

Whilst following the footy preseason of course.
